Drug Free America Foundation Inc. is partnering with the Hillsborough County Anti-Drug Alliance to host the 8th Annual Drug Prevention Summit. This two day event will be held on February 17-18th of 2020 at DoubleTree by Hilton Tampa Airport-Westshore. The goal of this summit is to increase awareness of the impacts of drug use and abuse, enhance knowledge of how to reduce access, change social norms, and encourage discussion of current policies. This summit will focus on implementing successful prevention strategies and providing tools to empower communities to advocate for sound drug policies.
CEUs for prevention certification, substance abuse, mental health, marriage counseling, nursing, clinical social work, marriage and family therapy, as well as mental health counseling, will be provided over the course of the two day summit, with certificates handed out at the end of each day.
