Drug Free America Foundation has submitted a formal contribution to the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in response to its call for inputs on the human rights challenges of the world drug problem, with particular attention to the impact of drug policies on women and girls. In this submission, DFAF emphasizes that human rights and drug policy should advance together through prevention-centered, gender-responsive, and evidence-based approaches that protect health, strengthen families, and safeguard future generations.
