We’re delighted to invite you to the launch webinar of our new “Myth to Action” toolkit, a practical resource on trauma and substance use disorders for the workforce, families, and communities. The toolkit is a product of the Trauma and SUD Action Force Initiative (TSAFI), an initiative led by Drug Free America Foundation and World Federation Against Drugs.
This toolkit is the outcome of our Myth to Action campaign (May 2025), which gathered and clarified over 50 global misconceptions about trauma and substance use disorders. Building on that success, we’ve expanded key insights into this toolkit, complete with easy-to-use exercises, training resources, and knowledge tools to support your work and community.
The toolkit has already been piloted with great success, and during this webinar, we’ll share both the toolkit itself and the real-world experiences and results from those who tested it. Our panel included:
- Rocio Suarez Ordonez – TSAFI, Argentina
- Chantelle Pepper – West Cape, South Africa
- Elroy Stuurman – Department of Social Development office in Riversdale, Hessequa municipality, Western Cape, South Africa
- Sana Ullah Rathore, Mian Afzal Trust Hospital
Join us on November 20th at 8 AM EST to be among the first to explore the toolkit and gain exclusive access. Register here.
Take the TSAFI survey!
How do you understand trauma and how does it show up in your work? TSAFI is mapping global perspectives on trauma to better understand how prevention and treatment professionals are integrating trauma-informed approaches.
