Smiles is Nothing to Be Happy About

Use of a dangerous new drug called Smiles is on the rise across the country.  Smiles is a psychedelic drug also known a 2C-I.  It is reported that Smiles is similar to MDMA (better know as ecstasy) and LSD combined.  Users explain that Smiles gives a burst of energy along with intense visual hallucinations. 
 
Teens are video taping their experiences on this synthetic drug and posting them on YouTube. Overdoses are being reported in several states.  One such case of a 17 year old boy using Smiles resulted in him growling, shaking, foaming at the mouth, smashing his head into the cement and then he stopped breathing two hours later. 2C-I is classified as a Schedule 1 substance, which makes it illegal to possess and distribute the drug.
