Colorado Medi-Pot Diverted to Other States for Recreational Use
This year the Rocky Mountain High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (RMHIDTA) conducted a cursory assessment to determine whether there was evidence that Colorado “medical” marijuana was being diverted to other states. In a three week study, there were over seventy examples from nineteen agencies that showed Colorado is becoming a source state for marijuana.
The report concluded that there is evidence that Colorado’s regulations are not working and “medical” marijuana is being diverted for recreational purposes.
